Terms of Use

Last updated September 7, 2026

These are the plain-language terms for using carolthegreek.com. By reading and using the site, you're agreeing to them. Questions go to carol@carolthegreek.com.

Using the recipes and content

Everything on this site — recipes, articles, photos, and travel guides — is Carol's original work and is free to read and cook from for your own kitchen. Please don't copy full recipes or articles onto another website or publication. You're always welcome to link to a page here, or share it on social media with credit. For anything beyond that — republishing, media use, or partnerships — email us first.

Not medical or professional advice

Content about the Greek Mediterranean diet, olive oil, polyphenols, and longevity is written from personal experience and general research — it's educational, not medical, nutritional, or professional advice. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making changes based on anything you read here, especially if you have an existing health condition.

Travel planning

Trip planning and custom itineraries are offered through Be My Guest in Greece, a separate business with its own booking terms. Anything you arrange through that site is between you and Be My Guest in Greece, not carolthegreek.com.

Links to EVGE and other sites

This site links to evge.us and Hellenic Estates Group — Carol's own related businesses — as well as other outbound links (recipes credit sources, articles reference outside material). We don't control those other sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or policies.

No accounts, no warranty

The site doesn't require an account and collects no payment information directly. Content is provided as-is: we do our best to keep recipes and information accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee the site will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or exactly right for your particular kitchen, ingredients, or equipment.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the site changes. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
